BHRUGUVALLI SIXTH ANUVAKA

                                           Brahmavignane panchama paryayaha

Mantra:  Anando brahmeti vyajanath anandadhyeva khalvimani bhutani jayante

Meaning:  In this manner, the renowned sage Bhrugu, the pure souled,  performed  penance and found that the Anna, Prana, Mano, and Vignanmayakosas do not fully qualify themselves to be called the Brahman. At length, through his penance he recognized the all inherent Ananda  or Bliss as the real Brahman.
This famous Vidya has been  described  by Varuna. It has been understood by the sage Bhrugu. This Vidya has attained completion and fulfillment in the famous ’hrudayakasa’—in the inner cave of intellect—(buddhi guha) as also in the form of Ananda which is Adwaita. One who performs tapas similarly and  rejects Anna, Prana, Manas, and Vignanamayakosas as the Brahman and recognizes Ananda or Bliss as the Brahman is fixed in the Brahman. He becomes the Brahman himself. He has annam. He shall have great appetite (jataragni) He shall be blessed with sons and grandsons as well as herds of cattle. He shall also be endowed with the control of the inner and outer organs of the body (sama, dama) and the radiance of the BRAHMAN. He shall be also renowned as a follower of good traditions.
