THE ADVEVT OF SRI SATHYA SAI AVATAR--A FEW PROPHECIES

According to R Lowenberg “   Those  thousands of people worship and adore Baba much as did the disciples of Jesus Christ or the Gopis and Gopikas who adored  Lord Krishna.”  Was there any indication for the advent of the avatar? This question is answered by Lowenberg in his book THE HEART OF SAI. He refers   to  the  Mahabharatha  and the words of sage Markandeya  to the Pandava  brothers. The sage reported  what  Lord  Krishna  told him of the incarnation to come in Kaliyuga when evil reigns supreme. Lowenberg opines that Swami’s avatar is decidedly that as prophesied by  the  sage  Markandeya!
Very interestingly Lowenberg quotes from the REVELATIONS OF ST JOHN in the New Testament to prove the coming of Baba! He refers to chapter 19 of Revalations  verses  11 to15 to demonstrate his argument. “ the  white horse could be Baba’s white motor car, the rider of the white horse is Kalki so that this would mean that Baba is the Kalki avatar. Baba’s name is Sathya meaning truth. He deals in righteousness  by teaching  Sanathana  Dharma—the  ancient  teaching of righteousness.”(  The  Heart of Sai, page119) Commenting on verse 12, Lowenberg opines that the eyes of flame signify Baba’s all seeing capacity. The many crowns may mean the  ‘ crinkly  hair’. Lowenberg  interprets “ a  vesture dipped in blood” as the blood red robe of Baba. “  The  armies which were in heaven followed  him upon white horses clothed in fine linen white and  clean” are considered  to be the devotees, and followers of Swami with a pure heart and white dress!  “ And  out of his mouth goeth  a sharp sword” is explained as the sword of Truth with which he will conquer the nations of the world!
According to Irani  Ma   Zoaraster too had prophesied the arrival of Baba! The name given to Baba was ‘ RASTI’  meaning  Sathya or Truth. It is very astonishing to  read  and  know from Lowenberg  the prophesy made by prophet Mohammed regarding the Sai avatar! He quotes from Irani Ma’s valuable possession “The Ocean of Light” vol 13. It is believed that the Prophet gave three hundred signs to recognize  ‘ the Great Teacher’ or the ‘ Master of the World’. There is a remarkable similarity between the Prophet’s prophesy and Swami’s personality.  “ His  hair will be profuse; his forehead will be large and  concave; he will not have a beard but will be clean shaven. He will have a mole on the cheek; his clothing will be like a flame; the color of his  face  will  sometimes  be like copper, sometimes yellow like gold, sometimes very dark, and sometimes shining like the Moon. His body will be small in size but his stomach large. His legs will be like those of a young girl, all the teachings of all the religions of the world will be in his heart from birth; all the science and knowledge of the world from the beginning of time will be in his head. All things which you will ask  from  God  He( the Master of the world) will give to you. All the treasures of the world are under his feet. He will go round amongst the devotees and touch their heads with his hand; every eye that sees him will be happy, not only humans but disembodied souls. He will  wear  two  robes . (Baba wears a light under robe)  He will live for 95 to 96 years on earth!”
He  will live on a hill; his devotees will collect under a big tree;  his house will be a square;  He will make the world light and full of peace. So as not to be deceived you should know that the Master of the world will bring things out of his body, through his mouth!” Lowenberg says, “  Each  and every one of these signs or marks point indisputably to Sathya Sai Baba. As Irani Ma says” I found in this book everything I had seen in Brindavan, in Sai Baba .”  ( The  Heart of Sai p123-4)  On the topic of Sai avatar   EB  Fanibunda, a staunch  disciple of Swami, in his VISION OF THE DIVINE points out: “ The avatar is the starting point. He is God (in) man. God is the  unknown  quantity  to be reached via the known quantity. Man Baba is both, the known and the unknown,  a  complete,  full divine incarnation. Thus he gives an opportunity not only to start from the Known but also points the way to the goal” (page 12)
